Mommy/Hannah Day

It's Spring Break here in Southeast Texas.  But us working Mom's have to Work.  I took off yesterday at Hannah's begging to take her to Space Center Houston.  She is 5 but she loves everything about space and astronauts.  Space Center Houston is located in Webster, Texas on the outskirts of Houston.  It houses a collection of space exploration artifacts with a rotating exhibit on a specific topic.  The current exhibit is not recommended.  It is on water and is not very user friendly however, the other parts of Spacecenter Houston are a experience worth seeing.  This time we took the extended tram ride through the NASA complex.  You must get your photo taken and go through a metal detector but the wait is worth it.  So after our learning experience at the space center I took a slight detour home... yep two goodwills, three resale shops and Hobby Lobby!  It would have been four resale shops but Hannah put her tiny foot down and told me no.  At goodwill we scored a wooden step stool, a broken guitar ( i will paint and make it a wall decoration), a shabby pillow, books, and more books, a giant mirror for $7.00.  At the resale shops we got two prom dresses for a buck each, a statue of liberty 3d puzzle(all Hannah!), and some books.  So if you find yourself in Webster, Texas check out the Goodwill off hwy 45 and keep your eyes peeled for thrift and resale shops.  I will post some picks of our girls day out soon.... xoxoxoxo
